Living Classic

Just pure energy and real music - no plan, no script

Music leads us into an inner space—a space full of emotion, where we are entirely with ourselves. With sensitive and calm, at times meditative compositions, the composer and pianist Thomas Lambrich, who lives in Hamburg and Tuscany, seeks to offer his listeners moments of presence, relaxation, and inner reflection: “I hope that my music allows people to create their own images and ideas.” His neo-classical compositions invite listeners on an emotional sonic journey that promises a respite from noise, haste, and stress.

As a child, Thomas learned not only the piano but also the harpsichord and church organ. Although music was the first great love of his life, he lacked the courage to make it the professional center of his life. After many years in a different career, he completely changed his life a few years ago and once again gave the piano a central place in it. He released his debut album Suoni di colore in 2024; following several single releases, his second album fæden was released last year. His compositions are streamed worldwide and featured in numerous genre playlists.

"Piano Toscano" on the 17th September 2026

Thomas Lambrich, a composer and pianist originally from Hamburg, began his musical journey with a portable piano, which he used to give concerts in his adopted home of Tuscany – on beaches, in woods and vineyards, or in the piazzas of tranquil villages. Inspired by the beauty of the landscape and the warmth of the people, he has composed pieces through which he aims to transport his audience to Tuscany. His calm and soulful piano music invites listeners on a relaxing journey through sound, where they can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and find inner peace.

"Timbres" on the 5th November 2026

In November 2023, the composer and pianist – who lives in Hamburg and Tuscany – released his first album, entitled “Suoni di colore”. This translates as “Timbres”, and it was created at a decisive turning point when his return to music once again bathed his life in vibrant colours. Prior to this, he had shifted his focus from classical to the neo-classical genre. At his concert on 5 November 2026, Thomas Lambrich will perform not only his own compositions but also works by other composers who have inspired his music. The programme will include pieces by Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen and Joep Beving, amongst others. You can therefore look forward to another relaxing evening of soulful piano music interwoven with personal stories in the special atmosphere of the Living Room.
