Live like in a museum, but in comfort!

An absolute dream! There is art everywhere in this hotel, and some of the antique furniture in the rooms is free to use! You practically live in a museum. Perfect service all round - from check-in to breakfast and restaurant recommendations (Agata's!!!). I will definitely be back. In the middle of the old town - everything within walking distance.

Sights in Dusseldorf

Königsallee (KÖ)

Would you like to shop where luxury meets style? Then the nearby Königsallee, or Kö for short, is the place for you. As one of the most exclusive shopping streets in Europe, the Kö promises its visitors not only elegant boutiques, well-known brands and first-class restaurants, but also a perfect ambience with a view of the picturesque canal. The avenue, which is lined with imposing trees, is also a popular meeting place for art lovers, as there are occasional exhibitions and art installations along the avenue. You can also visit the nearby Museum Kunstpalast. This is an important art museum that presents its guests with a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, photography and applied art from different eras. However, the architecture of Königsallee also shines with restored houses and bridges that represent the charm of the avenue. The Kö-Bogen in particular is a real highlight: its curved façade made of glass and natural stone makes it a true architectural masterpiece. It was designed by the renowned architect Daniel Libeskind and today offers first-class shopping opportunities in a luxurious ambience.

Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen

The Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen is divided into two important museums: the K20 and the K21. The K20 awaits its visitors with an impressive collection of modern art; the works by Picasso, Warhol and Lichtenstein are particularly worth seeing. It has made a name for itself internationally with its constantly changing special exhibitions. The K21 not only impresses with an outstanding architectural building, but also with innovative exhibitions of contemporary art and an interactive interior design that brings the art presented there to life. The in-house Pardo Bar is the perfect place to round off a visit to K21 in style - sometimes even after the museum has closed. Both museums offer a dynamic program and interactive art projects, making them a must for all art lovers.

Rhine Tower and Medienhafen

At 240 meters high, the Rhine Tower is a striking landmark of the city and offers a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Düsseldorf. The rotating restaurant at the top not only offers first-class dishes, but also a unique experience for its visitors. The Medienhafen is just a stone's throw away and can therefore be perfectly combined with a visit to the Rhine Tower. This creative center combines stylishly preserved harbor buildings with spectacular modern architecture and trendy gastronomy. In the fascinating architectural ensemble, you can marvel in particular at the “Neuer Zollhof”, which was designed by star architect Frank Gehry and has an unconventional design. Today, the Medienhafen is also considered a creative hotspot in Düsseldorf - a place where media companies, design studios and trendy gastronomy concepts come together in an inspiring atmosphere.

Old Town

Affectionately known as the “longest bar in the world”, Düsseldorf's old town attracts numerous visitors from all over the world with its charming historical flair and diverse range of culinary delights and stores. Between medieval buildings and narrow, picturesque alleyways, around 250 restaurants, pubs and stores await you, as well as cultural sights such as St. Lambert's Church and the town hall. The old town is known for its vibrant pub culture and lively nightlife. Here you will find numerous traditional breweries serving the unmistakable Düsseldorf Altbier. Enjoy the fantastic panoramic view of the banks of the Rhine and discover cultural highlights such as the impressive Ceramics Museum, the Maritime Museum or the Heinrich Heine Institute, which is dedicated to the life and work of the famous poet.
