Opinion of the stay

The location of the hotel is not far from the city center, near the river and metro station. Hotel staff very nice and friendly. I liked the information in the booking confirmation and the information about the possibility of waiving the daily cleaning of the room and the use of these funds for an animal shelter.

The Alexanderplatz

Alexanderplatz, or “Alex” for short, is the beating heart of Berlin and one of the city's most popular squares. Originally a marketplace, today it has developed into a central transportation hub and meeting place for locals and tourists alike. With modern architecture, shopping centers such as the Alexa Mall and famous sights, Alexanderplatz creates a backdrop that makes every heart beat faster. A particular highlight is the Berlin TV Tower, which at 368 meters is the tallest building in Germany. It offers a fascinating panoramic view over the rooftops of Berlin as well as a rotating restaurant with first-class dishes. In the surrounding area you will find numerous cafés and restaurants as well as other highlights such as the World Time Clock, a popular photo motif for tourists and locals alike.

The Brandenburg Gate

This impressive building represents a piece of Berlin's history. Originally built as a symbol of peace in 1791, the Brandenburg Gate became a symbol of division during the division of Germany - and a symbol of unity and freedom after the fall of the Wall in 1989. Nowadays, it is a central meeting point for many history enthusiasts. The archway, a masterpiece of classical architecture, was designed by the famous architect Carl Gotthard Langhans. The Brandenburg Gate not only provides a backdrop to gain an insight into Berlin's history, but also hosts important events such as the New Year's Eve celebrations, which bring thousands of people together every year. Located on Pariser Platz, the gate is surrounded by numerous other sights, such as the Reichstag building, making it perfect for a discovery tour.

The Berlin Cathedral

Berlin Cathedral is located on Museum Island and is one of the most impressive churches in Berlin. Originally built in the 17th century as a court and city church, today it has become one of Berlin's most important landmarks with its baroque architecture and striking dome. At around 116 meters, Berlin Cathedral is one of the tallest church buildings in Berlin. The dome towers imposingly over Museum Island and offers an impressive view after climbing 270 steps. Let your gaze wander over the Berlin skyline and see the famous television tower and the nearby Nikolai Quarter from a completely new perspective. Marvel at the magnificent interior, including the majestic high altar and the organ, which is one of the largest in Germany with its 7,269 pipes and 113 stops. Or visit the Hohenzollern crypt, one of the most important dynastic burial sites in Germany.

The Uber Arena

With over 17,000 seats and outstanding acoustics, the Uber Arena is one of the most modern event halls in Europe. From spectacular concerts by international artists to exciting sporting events such as ice hockey or basketball, it offers a diverse range of special experiences. It offers a total of 130 events every year, attracting around 1.3 million guests.
