Thank you for booking a stay at our Living Hotel Kaiser Franz Joseph. To ensure that our guests and employees remain as safe as possible, we are observing stringent safety and hygiene guidelines.

SGS Institut Fresenius will be checking our COVID-19 hygiene strategy in the near future, based on a strict catalog of measures, and will validate its implementation in the hotel.

If you have visited a risk area, as identified by the Robert Koch Institute (more information), in the past three weeks, then you must confirm when checking in that you and any fellow travelers had a COVID-19 test on your return and received a negative result. If you or your fellow travelers are currently suffering from COVID-19, then your visit will unfortunately not be possible.

We are, of course, still doing everything we can to provide you with the best possible service; however, the implementation of our hygiene strategy is currently affecting the following services.

    • At the moment, our Park and Porter service is not available.
      • In order to keep contact to a minimum, rooms are also not being cleaned on a daily basis – the cleaning cycle depends on the offer that has been booked. Please feel free to contact us if you would like further information on this matter. However, prior to your arrival, your room will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
        • If you have booked our breakfast service, you will receive this in a takeaway paper boxor an extended continental breakfast in our breakfast room. We have taken care to ensure that the reduction in services is reflected in the cheaper room rate.
