Brasserie Stadthaus

It’s not only a word. It’s a feeling.

Literally: Under Dusseldorf’s most beautiful coffered ceiling you can expect Dusseldorf’s frenchest kitchen. From Escargots and Foie gras over Oysters and frog legs, Steak Frites and Roasted Marrow Bones up to Mousse Au Chocolat there is no undreamed gourmet-dream. Bordeaux, Burgund and Beaujolais melts on the tongue – and the Champagne has a special place on the beverage list of course.

Your place on the long bench, in the booth or under the heaven tent in the inner court of the almost 400 years old Stadthaus at the Mühlenstraße is covered with white, with style and witihout cichi. Flanked by the Living Hotel De Medici, protected by the andreas church and inspired by the neighboured culture strongholds – whether its opera, art collection, Kunsthaus or Kom(m)ödchen.

Like to have a cognac?  At the end of the day you can go to the bar – a painting in the truest sense of word. And if you get into sympathy with it and want to have a celebration: there is room for it aswell.
