Temporary living in
Munich’s Werksviertel

Located in the historical area behind Munich’s Ostbahnhof station, the Werksviertel is a new residential and commercial district in the making. Formerly an industrial area, where Pfanni instant potato was manufactured up until the end of the 1990s and Optimol Ölwerke was also once based, the quarter is now a hub of visionary ideas, innovation and culture.

Working in the Werksviertel

The factory buildings on the old industrial site have been converted and re-purposed. They blend in beautifully with the modern buildings now being built on the 39-hectare site, most of which are bright office lofts for new start-ups, SMEs and large service providers operating in a wide range of sectors. A total of 7,000 new jobs have been created among the graffiti and bright containers of the new quarter.

Living in the Werksviertel

The urban flair of the new quarter between the Berg am Laim and Haidhausen districts not only favors creativity and productivity, it also tempts visitors to stay a while. With a large park, numerous cafés, bars and restaurants, and ample sports and leisure options, it is easy to find a good work-life balance.

The new concert hall establishes the Werksviertel as the cultural and creative heart of the city – a diverse and inspiring meeting place that is a hive of activity around the clock.

Staying in the Werksviertel – Serviced apartments

The area is served by good infrastructure connections to both the city center and the rest of the country, making East Munich an attractive place to live and work.

And what could be better and more convenient for business travelers and workers than our serviced apartments near Balanstrasse in the Werksviertel area?
